Den Meetings, Pack Meetings, and Events

Meeting Times

Normal meeting times are on the first three available Mondays of the month at 6pm in the school cafeteria.

The first two Mondays are reserved for Den meetings. The last Monday is the pack meeting.

See the pack Calendar on the front page of this website for specific dates.

Den Meetings

Den Meetings are the most important activity in Cub Scouting. While the meetings include games and other activities that are fun for the Scouts, program delivery is the main goal. Scouts participate in activities and work on projects that are related to an adventure and that help them learn the skills they need to progress in rank.

Den Leaders may opt for alternate meeting times and location if that works out for all families in the den.

Pack Meetings

Pack meetings are a monthly event in which we come together as a large group. These can be made up of several different activities and offer dens a chance to get to know the others in their pack.

Events

In addition to Den and Pack meetings, we try to plan a fun activity each month which could include hiking, camping, visiting local sites such as the Cowtown museum, Lake Afton Public Observatory, museums, fire station, bowling, bike rides, sporting events, etc. These will vary based on the month and the event, and none are required. The specific dates for these will be finalized after signup night as the size of our group can affect what we're able to do.
